Class will meet for two sessions on Feb. 25 and March 11, 2010, at the OSU Stillwater campus. These sessions will cover course work for the program and also will allow students the opportunity to bond as a group and learn about the specific trip details and business opportunities available to them in New York City. Dr. Betty Simkins serves as Williams Companies Professor of Business and Professor of Finance, Department of Finance. Dr. Simkins has been a member of the finance faculty at OSU for 12 years. During this time, she has been the recipient of a number of teaching awards including the 2001 Regents Distinguished Teaching Award, the 2001 Merrick Foundation Teaching Award, the 1999 Chandler-Frates and Reitz Teaching Excellence Award and the 2001-2002 Outstanding OSU MBA Faculty Award.

FIN 4550/BADM 5200
An Introduction to Wall Street, Investment Banking and New York City Financial Markets

  • FIN 4550: Open to all majors
    Prerequisite: FIN 3113 (may be concurrently enrolled)
  • BADM 5200: Open to all MBA students.
    Will have an additional assignment to differentiate the course from the undergraduate section.

Fee

$1,775+ Airfare.
OSU will assist in organizing your air travel but it is your responsibility to purchase your ticket. Fee includes tuition and fees for three credit hours, a group meal, an OSU alumni meet and greet, and lodging in NYC. A $400 deposit will be charged to your bursar's account at the time of enrollment; the balance will be billed to your account on Feb. 12, 2010.
